PROFILE OF THE COMPANY
The word ‘Serendipity’ means a lot to us. It was voted as one of the ten English words that was hardest to translate by a British translation company. It means the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. As far as creativity is concerned, serendipity is the way of life.
A Sculptor - Animator, Jyotirmoy Acharyya and a Writer - Director, Nisha Matamp created Alignment Issue. Jyotirmoy has worked in Television channels, Production houses, IT firms; snowballing from designing Powerpoints for Microsoft to making Promos and Packagings for NDTV Showbiz to doing VFX and 3D animations for ad films and films. After 6 years, in 2011, Alignment Issue came into being.
Nisha’s love for conceptualizing has taken her from ad making to TV shows for children to Promos to Documentaries.
The duo has successfully made an Interactive Presentation for CSMVS (Prince of Wales Museum, Mumbai) which includes a few games and other fun things along with a film on Indus Valley Civilization for children; in an attempt to make our history look interesting.
All we want is to work on good projects as this is what we plan to do, in this life.
